The Boxer Rebellion

Thu Jan 06, 2005 at 09:29:30 AM PDT

Wow, a little bit of estrogen is can be mighty potent and contagious.....Clinton, Obama, Dodd, Reid now I hear Levin is on board...

Will the Boxer Rebellion be the new limus test as was the IWR???

If so the grassroots has to do this more often. Really have to light fires under our Dems butts to get them going...but once they are up ... there is a snow ball effect....safety in numbers.

Update [2005-1-6 12:40:10 by Genf]: julie37 say maybe [Durbin http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/1/6/122513/4323] is on board

5 minutes:: Tell your Dems to take to the floor

Thu Jan 06, 2005 at 07:34:21 AM PDT

Sen. Barbara Boxer (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif., signed a challenge mounted by House Democrats to Ohio's 20 electoral votes, which put Bush over the top. By law, a challenge signed by members of the House and Senate requires both chambers to meet separately for up to two hours to consider it. Lawmakers are allowed to speak for no more than five minutes each.

Even if more Senators do not sign up, let's not lose the moment or the cameras THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING

Let's get every Dem to STAND UP and SAY SOMETHING. Barbara took the bullet now call your lawmakers and tell to take to the floor and use their 5 minutes.

Democracy is like a muscle if you do not use it ...you lose it!!!

The DLC sticks up for Bush's Stinginess

Fri Dec 31, 2004 at 03:46:53 AM PDT

Why any one in their wildest dreams still thinks that the DLC are Democrats is beyond me. Their blogs sound like the factless-based realities of RedState.org. If you don't have a fact to support your argument just blame someone else.

Al From gets his War On

Just look at this freak...did you vote for him to have so much power in the DNC?

Well, it looks like this asshole is gonna do what ever it takes to keep pimping the Democratic Party to his war buddies and the Republicans.

"Who's Your Daddy?"

Tue Dec 21, 2004 at 02:31:35 PM PDT

Fox has scraped the barrel of lower than low.

Fox TV has announced that on Jan. 3 it will air the first episode of "Who's Your Daddy?" - a reality show with a reunion and $100,000 as the prizes. The show description states that an adult adoptee (adopted as an infant) will interview eight men - one of whom is her birthfather. She will try to determine which one is the "real" birthdad. If she picks the right one, she gets a reunion and $100,000. If she picks the wrong one, she gets a reunion and the contestant who fooled her gets the money.

Fox says the show is an emotional tear-jerker with a happy ending,

What's in a name: Dean Centrism vs DLC Centrism

Mon Dec 20, 2004 at 02:50:32 AM PDT

Centrism keeping ideology in the middle

This is not as simple as it sounds. True Blue Dems to not so blue Dems call themselves CENTRISTS. What's up with that?

I got to thinking this weekend and realized that they are all right. Yes, Dean is a centrist and so is Joe LIEberman. How can that be?

Well is very EASY...more below the belt...

When the DLC misunderstands Dean

Thu Dec 09, 2004 at 04:33:07 AM PDT

Okay here are two pieces that came from the DLC websites. One critising Dean (what's new) for WRONGLY suggesting in his speech that some parts of the Democratic establishment want to move the party to the right and be more like the GOP.

The second in a letter from Al From detailing ways in which the party should (wait for it) MOVE TO THE RIGHT and be more like the Republicans in order to win.

The DLC and the Neo-Cons the ties that bind

Fuckwads in DLC tell Koffi Annan to step down

Mon Dec 06, 2004 at 11:55:15 AM PDT

Pathetic pieces of shit once again doing Bush's dirty work. The fuckheads barely squeeked about the Abu Garib torture just mumbled something about "Blair Democrats".

This is totally uncalled for and is just a witch hunt to remove an obstacle to the "Grand Chessgame".

If ever, there is a DLC candidate running for something I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR A DLC CANDIDATE M I DON'T CARE IF IT IS PRESIDENT I WILL RUN TO THE NEAREST THIRD PARTY...they are NO different than the neo-cons...bunch of jackasses.

Please excuse the tone ... but AL FROM is a FUCKHEAD!!!

My 2 cents

Fri Dec 03, 2004 at 11:39:18 AM PDT

Seeing how my opinion is being discussed without me I thought I'd give you all my own 2 cents about the subject

I am being very honest. I do not like Kerry.

He is my Senator and before I really became aware of all the candidates and got involved with the campaigns he was my first choice. He always seemed like a likeable fellow.

Kos: Enough is enough

Sorry to go over the limit. But I am getting sick and tired of opinion troll raters.

Geekynerd, Flyovercountry and Sweetsally 69 are the same person. I am not the only one to figure this out He troll rates anyopinion I have about Kerry and pumps up his own ratings via his multiple personalities.

I do not know what to do anymore!!!!

PLEASE HELP

The DLC FINALLY-- Get's it

Tue Nov 30, 2004 at 04:33:47 AM PDT

It took them awhile, but when House Speaker Dennis Hastert refused to bring an administration-backed bipartisan intelligence reform bill to the floor the light finally came on.
